i will on my new blog when i make it
Okay, it’s clear that my looking through the music albums isn’t very interesing.
And I don’t use this very much for the updates anymore.
So, when I make my new tumblr, this blog will be officially abandoned.
I will post the link to the new blog when I make it, but until then I’ll only be answering questions.
It’s been fun catching up to Homestuck, but I gotta do more things.
sounds fitting
Three in the Morning: Holy sit, DAT PIANO
Blue Noir: Sounds like something I’d hear in a SNES game. I like.
Dead Shuffle: DAT SAX. The saxaphone is the greatest instrument of all time.
Hearts Flush: Likewise, jazz is the greatest genre of all time. I could listen to this for hours.
Knives and Ivory: Smooth jazz! This album is just made of jazz and win.
Liquid Negrocity: Oh hey it’s a variation of that one song. Very fitting. The one from the last album was for Jack, while this one is for Spades.
Hollow Suit: I get it. It’s a pun on the fact that they wear suits, and they represent suits of cards. It’s very mysterious sounding.
Ante Matter: oh god thats a terrible pun. This is very much a jazz-lounge song. I could drink coffee to this.
The Ballad of Jack Noir: Suddenly chiptunes. Wow, this sounds way too upbeat for Jack. Should’ve been The Ballad of Clubs Deuce
Lunar Eclipse: Peaceful.
Hauntjam: Oh, I like this. A very nice bass.
Carbon Nasdat/Cuestick Genius: Kind of haunting! But I like the synths in this.
Ace of Trump: holy shit six minutes what. Oh wow it suddenly gets much better a minute and a half in.
Moonshine: Another SNES sounding song. I could see this as a song for a seedy casino or bar.
Tall, Dark and Loathsome: The bass in this entire album is amazing.
Joker’s Wild: Ohh, more lounge musIS THIS HARLEQUIN.
Livin’ It Up: Not really sure what this is…
Hauntjelly: Remix of Hauntjam, doesn’t seem as good as the original, to me.
And that’s it. Be back tomorow with Vol 5
Not every update.
But yes, this blog has and will be slowed down dramaitically.
21-Harleboss: Oh hell yes. This is so very epic. Not as much as the rock mix, but still god.
22-Beatdown Round 2: This is definitely a remix of Beatdown
23-Dissension (original): Oh hey I loved this song when it appered in the comic!
24-Dissension (remix): It upgraded from NES to SNES
25-Ohgodwhat: Despite the name, it is really catchy
26-Ohgodwhat Remix: holy shit it somehow got catchier
27-Rediscover Fusion: Ehh, too atmospheric for my tastes. But I do like the snse of urgency in it.
28-Explore Remix: There sure are a lot of remixes!
29-Chorale for Jaspers: ;-;
30-Pony Chorale: :|
31-Revelawesome: Oh right, this was for John’s major overreaction to his dad’s room. Would’ve been nice if it was a it longer
32-Hardlyquin: Is this like the 5th Harlequin mix in this. It is kind of terrifying!
33-Carefree Victory: Holy shit this is happy. I like it, especially when it remixes itself in the middle.
34-Ballad of Awakening: There’s a lot of peaceful songs in this. Very soothing.
35-Sburban Jungle: According to Zach, Homestuck has a theme and this isn’t it. I say FUCK YOU ZACH, I so strongly associate this with Hometuck you dont’t even know. It is a perfect representation of Homestuck, simple beginning and picks up speed and complexity and epicness as it goes on.
36-Three in the Morning (RJ’s I Can Barely Sleep In This Casino Remix): This is an odd song name. And I would destory an alarm clock that sounds like the one in the beginning.
37-Doctor: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. THIS IS THE SONG THAT KEEPS ON APPEARING. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
38-Endless Climb: This appeared during the first LOLAR segment, right? It very much fits a place of soothing rain and pastel colors.
39-Atomyk Ebopyre: Everything that involves Dave has to be an epic battle theme.
40-Black:Oh shit, this is from Jack’s ascention. I like this, it’s like a combonation of Jazz and a villian’s theme. Which, I guess, is very much like Jack.
And that’s it for vol. 1-4. I’ll be doing a volume a day, so look out for the Midnight Crew album tomorrow!
1-Showtime (Piano refrain): Really pretty piano. Very powerful second half. So, did this or the battle version come first?
2-Harlequin: It and all the remixes I’ve heard throughout the comic are very fitting. Also CHIPTUNE
3-Showtime (Original mix): well that answers my question. But I really like this, there’s a lot of parts that weren’t in the looped version in the comic
4-Aggrieve (Violin refrain): Honestly, I’ve never really liked violin solos. Bu this is alright, I guess.
5-Sburban Countdown: Ah yes, the EOA1. Very short, but very urgent. But still lighthearted enough for its place in the comic
6-Aggrieve: Honstly, I don’t hear any of this in the violin version at all. This is much better in my opinion.
7-Showtime (Imp Strife mix): Much more serious, but still very John-like. Also DAT OPENING
8-Nannaquin: When I first heard this, expected whatever Nanna said to be in those old-timey subtitles.
9-Skies of Skaia: Very pretty, very memorable.
10-Harlequin (rock version): Holy fuck. Harlequin went from silly to rocking the fuck out. I very much like.
11-John Sleeps / Skaian Magicant: Very pretty. Very dream-like.
12-Upward Movement (Dave owns): Fucking awesome beat, but it feels like it takes way too long to get to the climax.
13-Vagabounce: More old-timey music. Very silly, befitting of the character it’s named after.
14-Explore: An incredibly powerful drumbeat makes this song very memorable.
15-Gardener: This is a very peaceful bassline.
16-Showtime Remix: Eh. I don’t like the synth beats very much in this.
17-Aggrieve Remix: Eugh.
18-Verdancy (Bassline): More bass
19-Potential Verdancy: This is a weird song. Until it gets to the middle and then it gets much better.
20-Beatdown (Strider style): Oh hell yes. Very much a Dave song. Dude doesn’t need a peaceful/somber refrain like John or Rose, he’s got ass to kick.
